- Actually given the 50 million users of 3.1 MS strategy of keeping pieces of
- GDI and USer 16 bit for compatibility looks like a good one. It makes the
- transition from 3.1 with lots of win16 apps much easier. (ie you don't have
- to go out and buy all new apps but can phase them in). Once everyone gets
- upgraded to win32 apps the trasnition for the meld of NT and 95 will be easy.
- To bad I can't even run win32 (not win32s under 3.10) apps in OS/2 .
